I have lived with this disease for over 25 years now and I understand how painful and life altering AS can be. My goal is to help each individual improve her/his quality of life by identifying and correcting the underlying causes of the chronic inflammation as opposed to suppressing symptoms.

Digestive health
Our Digestive Health impacts every other aspect of our health. From chronic inflammation, joint pain, autoimmunity, fatigue, anxiety, and weight gain. Gut health must be balanced for us to properly break down and absorb the nutrients our bodies desperately need to function properly and for our immune system to be optimized. I assess each individual's digestive health to see if imbalances in the gut are the underlying cause of symptoms.

Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression can be paralyzing. Constantly feeling anxious and depressed
is no way to live. When I addressed the gut-brain connection my anxiety and depression started to improve as well. My goal is to help each individual reduce anxiety and depression so communicating with others and going out into the world is seen as an opportunity to change lives as opposed to something to be feared.

Chronic Fatigue
It is nearly impossible to enjoy life, be productive, help those in need, and support the ones you love when you lack the energy our lives require. For almost 15 years my condition made me want to do nothing except lay down and sleep. In this state I wasn't able to help anybody. Once I started to experience increased energy, only then was I able to enjoy life and help others. My goal is to help you do the same.

Cardiovascular Disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women in the United States and around the world.
Unfortunately cardiovascular disease is usually not considered a problem until there is a significant amount of damage and symptoms occur. Preventing cardiovascular disease should be a top priority for every individual wanting to live a long and active life.
